Colonel William A. Wyman, Jr., US Army, Retired, is a Life Member of the CAA and a recipient of the General Winfield Scott Medallion (Bronze). He has 40 years of military service in the US Army, US Army Reserve, and Army National Guard. His strategic assignments include serving as the Chief of Staff for the Deputy Commanding General, US Army Reserve at the HQ, US Army Training and Doctrine Command focusing on integration of reserve capabilities in all aspects of DOTMLPF-P; as a Military Faculty member at the Joint Forces Staff College teaching Joint Professional Military Education to Active and Reserve Component servicemembers, US Government employees, and International Fellows from foreign militaries; as a Strategic Planner in the Office of the Chief of Army Reserve G-1 and HQ, United States Army Reserve Command G-1. His operational experience includes assignments as a Plans Officer with the HQ, US Army Europe and NATO Response Force J-5; Civil-Military Operations Planner with HQ, Multinational Corps-Iraq; and Chief of Operations, Civil-Military Operations with HQ, Multinational Division-Baghdad.


Currently, he is enrolled in the USAF Air War College. His professional military education includes completion of the US Army Command and General Staff College, College of Naval Command and Staff, Advanced Joint Professional Military Education, Joint Domestic Operations Course, Joint Humanitarian Operations Course, Joint Interagency and Multinational Planners Course, Homeland Security Planners Course, and NATO Comprehensive Operations Planners Course. He is a National Board of Director with the Army Strategist Association. He earned a BA-Paralegal Studies from Our Lady of the Elms College and a MMAS-Theater Operations from the School of Advanced Military Studies.
