Civil Reconnaissance & OSINT in Hybrid War: A Snapshot from Ukraine

Updated: Aug 17, 2021

The Civil Affairs Association is proud to continue its partnership with the Joint Civil Affairs Information Sharing Work Group.

Thanks to the initiative of several Marine and Army Civil Affairs leaders across combatant commands, they have partnered with Industry, the Eunomia Journal and the Civil Affairs Association to host numerous workgroups that shared and coordinated information sharing and cross-component collaboration.

The next workgroup will feature Dr. Nicholas Krohley from Frontline Advisory on Wednesday, 25 August 2021 at 9 am ET. Dr. Nick Krohley will discuss the utility of civil reconnaissance in hybrid warfare environments, and the importance of contextual understanding in the current strategic environment. The discussion will reference recent OSINT-based analytical work on the war in Ukraine, with links to a special portal where these products will be made available.
