Civil affairs interagency partners from the U.S. State Department and Agency for International Development have teamed up to summarize their view on the emerging role for CA under the new U.S. national framework for stabilization in a just-released article in the Small Wars Journal.

How civil affairs can optimize its capabilities to best facilitate and support interagency stabilization will be the topic of discussion of the panel moderated by Association member and Civil Affairs Issue Paper finalist Ryan McCannell, Senior Advisor to the Africa Bureau at USAID.
