Nomination of Distinguished or Honorary Member of the Civil Affairs Corps Regiment
A nomination for recognition of a person as either a Distinguished or a Honorary Member of the Civil Affairs Corps Regiment should be sent to the Commanding General of the US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School.

In the first paragraph of the nomination letter state the rank and name of the person nominated and the recognition the nomination is for, either Distinguished or Honorary Member of the Civil Affairs Regiment.
For the nomination for Distinguished Member of the Regiment attach to the nomination letter a brief (one page recommended) personal bio of the person nominated which describes the nominees Civil Affairs military service, with emphasis on outstanding and unique Civil Affairs service, contributions, and accomplishments.
Related civilian professional and/or community service should be noted. A person nominated for Distinguished Member of the Regiment must
be a member of the Civil Affairs Regiment.
In addition to the personal bio, with the nomination also provide an 8 X 10 photo of the person nominated, preferably a head and shoulders picture.
A person nominated for recognition as a Honorary Member of the Regiment is not a member of the Civil Affairs Regiment, but has performed notable service with or in support of Civil Affairs personnel, units, or activities. For this person provide a personal bio which describes service that supports the honorary recognition along with a 8 X 10 photo.
